SUNSET SWEEP: Thursday Early Evening Community Cleanup Series

Join I Love A Clean San Diego, San Diego Canyonlands, and Think Blue San Diego for a VIRTUALLY hosted litter cleanup! It is important to stay safe and avoid group gatherings right now, so we are turning the focus of these canyon cleanups away from public places and towards canyon-adjacent neighborhoods!

Have you noticed any areas near your home that need a pick-me-up? Please join us in protecting the environment as well as ourselves, and “sunset sweep” in your neighborhood Thursday afternoons. We will collect trash from around the community and keep it from traveling through the canyons into the Pacific Ocean.

TIJUANA RIVER ACTION MONTH: Tijuana River Valley Community Cleanup

Join I Love A Clean San Diego and the Tijuana River Action Network for a VIRTUALLY hosted litter cleanup in the neighborhoods surrounding the Tijuana River Valley! We will celebrate Tijuana River Action Month by collecting trash from around South Bay and keep it from traveling through the Tijuana Watershed into the ocean.

Tijuana River Action Month (TRAM) is a series of education and stewardship events held during September and October to benefit the Tijuana River Watershed. The goals of TRAM are to mobilize a record number of community volunteers and groups to become stewards of the Tijuana River Watershed; and, to recognize key efforts and investments by public and private agencies, businesses, non-profits and community groups to protect and restore the Tijuana River.
