Transitional Monitoring and Assessment Program Report (TMAR)

A requirement of the Municipal Permit Order No. 2013-0001 (as amended in Order Nos. R9-2015-0001 and R9-2015-0100), transitional monitoring was conducted and reported on prior to development of the Otay WQIP. The reports, appendices, and associated documents can be found below:

Water Quality Improvement Plan (WQIP)

The San Diego Bay Water Quality Improvement Plan, prepared pursuant to Regional Board Order No. R9-2013-0001 – This link takes you to the San Diego Bay Water Quality Improvement Plan and annual reports. Information about the San Diego Bay Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program, which was implemented prior to the WQIP pursuant to Regional Board Order No. R9-2007-0001, is also available at the link above.

Otay River Watershed Management Plan (ORWMP)
The County of San Diego, with partial funding from a Proposition 13 grant is writing a Watershed Management Plan for the Otay River Watershed.  The County is collaborating with the City of Chula Vista, the City of Imperial Beach and the Port of San Diego.

Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program (WURMP)

The San Diego Bay Watershed is a combination of three individual watersheds: Pueblo, Otay, and Sweetwater.  The Port of San Diego, as the lead jurisdiction, has collaborated with the County of San Diego and the cities of Chula Vista, Coronado, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Imperial Beach, National City, and San Diego to prepare the WURMP document to comply with the Municipal Stormwater Permit.
