Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program |

SAN
LUIS REY RIVER

On
January 24, 2007 the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional Board)
issued the Municipal
Storm Water Permit Order 2007-01 (Municipal Permit) to control waste discharges in urban runoff
from the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) that drain
into the watersheds of the County of San Diego, incorporated
cities of San Diego County and the San Diego Unified Port
District. In part, the Municipal Permit requires that the
Jurisdictions within a watershed collaborate in the development of
a Watershed Urban Runoff Management Program (WURMP) that addresses
high priority stormwater quality issues found within the
watershed.
The City of Oceanside, the lead agency, collaborated with the City
of Vista and the County of San Diego to prepare the San
Luis Rey River Watershed Urban Runoff Management Plan
(WURMP) and Appendices.
The agencies are continuously seeking stakeholder input on the
scope and content of the plan and welcome your comments. Please
submit all written comments concerning the San Luis Rey WURMP to:
