I Love a Clean San Diego Cleanup Event
Join us on Earth Day 2018, Saturday, April 21st, as we beautify over 100 sites in San Diego County! Last year, a record-breaking 6,588 volunteers came out to our 112 sites and successfully removed 194,169 pounds of litter. Instead of turning a blind eye to the abundance of litter found across San Diego County, our volunteers channeled their appreciation for San Diego’s environment into action to protect it.

Join ILACSD and the County of San Diego for a litter cleanup in Julian on Saturday, July 14 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am! Volunteers will pick up trash around the beloved Jess Martin Park located at 2955 Highway 79, Julian, CA 92036. Help us divert waste from the San Diego watershed and maintain the natural beauty of the community!
We will have cleanup supplies, snacks, and water. We also provide community service hours and Letters of Appreciation for volunteers. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn ways to protect our local environment!
We encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable items such as water bottles, work gloves, and buckets to promote zero waste practices and help us in our mission to have a zero waste, litter free and environmentally engaged San Diego region!
All volunteers are required to fill out a waiver form to participate and anyone under the age of 18 needs a waiver signed by their parent or guardian.

Volunteers will meet at the Pine Valley Village located at 28944 Old Hwy 80, Pine Valley, CA 91962. We will be doing a street sweep along Old Hwy 80 and the beloved Pine Valley Park to divert waste from the Tijuana watershed and maintain the natural beauty of the community!
We will have cleanup supplies, snacks, and water. We also provide community service hours and Letters of Appreciation for volunteers. This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn ways to protect our local environment!

Volunteers will meet at the Albertsons located at 2955 Alpine Blvd, Alpine, CA 91901. We will be doing a street sweep along Alpine Boulevard to divert waste from the Sweetwater Watershed and maintain the natural beauty of the community!
We will have cleanup supplies, snacks, and water. We also provide community service hours and Letters of Appreciation for volunteers.This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn ways to protect our local environment!

Volunteers will meet at the Santa Margarita River Hiking Trail located at 37385 De Luz Road, Fallbrook, CA 92028. Help us collect trash from the watershed and beautify the community for summer hikers! This is a great opportunity for students and families to learn ways to protect our local environment.
